Women’s College Hockey: Heise wins another award!

Taylor Heise (Lake City, Minnesota native and former Red Wing Wingers hockey star) has won her third WCHA Rookie Of The Week award this season.

Heise had two goals and three assists in two games last weekend in wins over the UMD Bulldogs and St. Cloud State Huskies as the Gophers won the Minnesota Cup Tournament at Ridder Arena.

Heise has 9-12-21 totals in 22 games this season.  The Gophers are 19-2-1 on the season and have won 12 straight games and are ranked #2 in the country.

The Gophers play at Minnesota State-Mankato this weekend.
