North Dakota cop honors fallen officers, K9s during snowstorm

A North Dakota police officer paid tribute to his fallen brothers and sisters by performing 18 pushups during a snowstorm.

Officer Nick Janttie, of the Fargo Police Department, was filmed participating in a pushup challenge.


Janttie performed 18 pushups "in honor of the 15 officers and 3 K9’s killed in the line of duty this year," the department wrote in a Facebook post on Thursday.

The temperature in Fargo on the day the video was posted was 0 degrees, according to Accuweather. The video shows Janttie in a snow-filled backdrop.
